WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING AS A MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR Teamwork: Collaborate with property management and maintenance team members to coordinate repairs, maintenance schedules and unit turns. Maintenance Tasks: Oversee all mechanical systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation. Your expertise will ensure that the residential community runs smoothly and efficiently and that learning opportunities are provided for lower level associates. Safety: Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety hazards and promptly address them. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any concerns the property leadership team. Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for the apartment community. Financials: Assist in budgeting and cost control for the maintenance department. Work closely with management to optimize resources and ensure efficiency. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to residents, addressing their maintenance needs with a friendly and approachable attitude. Be a responsive and reliable point of contact for all maintenance inquiries. Problem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances, ensuring a safe and comfortable living environment. Collaborative Leadership: Manage the on-call and regular maintenance staff scheduling alongside the General Manager. Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of skilled maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and professional development opportunities. COMPENSATION $90,000 - $105,000 / yearly with an annual bonus that is tied to performance includes housing Qualifications WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR You have 3 to 5 years’ maintenance/facilities experience in residential housing or in hospitality with at least 3 years’ directly managing a maintenance team. Experience with High-Rise residential buildings highly preferred. You’re able to work our emergency on-call rotation as needed, can lift up to 50 lbs, and stand for an 8-hour shift. You have your EPA or HVAC certification You have expert knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, fitness equipment, and waste management systems.
