Maintenance Manager

Your role and responsibilities

The purpose of this position is to supervise the Maintenance department. Oversee Maintenance technicians and ensure all PM’s are completed and equipment repair is done efficiently. Ensure that the Maintenance department provides customer service to the plant operations and understand the im-portance of working together with each department. Be a leader and example of safety in the work-place. Ensure safety will be a priority at the FSM Plant in Maintenance and to help create a safe work environment for all employees by participating in safety meetings and resolving safety issues in the plant.The work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-Onsite You will be mainly accountable for:•\tFostering a culture where safety is priority and where procedures and policies are followed. Assures compliance with all appropriate Company and Governmental regulations, being a representative of management that portrays a professional attitude and supports the plant/company goals and objectives.•\tProviding leadership, direction, training and administration of anyone assigned to the department including being responsible for shift communications, directing and coordinating maintenance duties. •\tResponsible for preparing work orders and reviewing those turned in for any part or work follow ups, plant maintenance, PMs, PdM and equipment.•\tPromoting employee involvement, listen, communicate and follow up while working with all other departments, supervisors, and managers to solve problems and accomplish plant goals.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor's Degree with minimum 2 years experience OR Associate's with minimum 4 years experience OR High School Diploma with 6 years experience Preferred Experience Includes: 4+ years experience in a maintenance leadership role, PLC troubleshooting and controls experience/knowledge, Knowledge of the fundamentals of industrial electrical application, pneumatics, hydraulics and control systems.\tRoot Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) / TPM / Shopfloor Display / SAP / Microsoft OfficeCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\tHours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:30pm - 6:30am / 4 hours MondayCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
