The Maintenance Trade I is responsible for basic Transportation delivery equipment maintenance general repairs and placing up Transportation lots as directed.

Essential Duties:

Perform periodic standard inspections and preventative maintenance on tools, equipment, and building. Schedule and coordinate the pick up of parts needed for repairs. Assists with minor facility repairs as needed. Fueling of Reefer Trailers as needed. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred; or 6+ month related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays. 

Physical Demands:

Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds Regularly stand; walk; stoop, kneel, crouch, climb, or crawl Ability to reach and handle objects, tools, or controls Must be able to frequently reach up to 31-77 inches.
