As a Maintenance Systems SAP Specialist, you will support the North America SAP Plant Maintenance and Project Systems Team during BASF's transition to S/4HANA and Fiori applications. Your role will involve contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, gaining expertise in SAP S/4HANA's technical aspects including Fiori applications, and managing your workload effectively. You will collaborate with regional experts, potentially lead teams, engage in teaching and training, and provide updates to management on SAP initiatives. **As a Maintenance Systems SAP Specialist, you create chemistry by...** + Assisting with the implementation of global SAP maintenance system processes in the North American region, including role mapping authorizations and the development of S/4HANA Fiori applications. + Planning, organizing, developing, and coordinating SAP maintenance training sessions, as well as testing and additional support activities for contractors and BASF employees related to the SAP maintenance module. + Providing daily support to the North America region to address inquiries and resolve issues related to SAP maintenance processes and procedures. + Maintaining a positive attitude while effectively collaborating in a team environment and managing tight deadlines on projects aimed at enhancing SAP functionality. Developing strong interpersonal skills, including communication and negotiation, and engaging with various organizational levels and functions. **If you...** + Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering or technical field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in Plant Maintenance using SAP or a related CMMS system. Alternatively, a Master’s Degree with no additional experience is also acceptable for supporting BASF's transition to S/4HANA. + Have a solid working knowledge of all technical aspects of SAP Plant Maintenance, along with experience in technical procurement, project systems, and finance. + Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Azure, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Microsoft Project, Microsoft SQL, SAP Scripting, dashboard development, API interfaces, and data management tools. + Have experience with project management, development of training materials, curriculum and training others is a plus. + This expertise will be valuable in supporting the regional Maintenance Systems Functional Expert (FEX) during the implementation of SAP S/4HANA in North America and in providing digitalization solutions tailored to specific customer needs. **Create your own chemistry with you@BASF** At BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
