The location in Bennettsville, (South Carolina, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of Maintenance Team Leader. This job is full-time permanent.
The Maintenance Team Leader position is in the Power & Utilities (P&U) Department which includes both the Fiberline and Recovery & Utilities areas. This position reports to the Fiberline Manager.
Manage/Lead a high-performing maintenance day team Ensure the department is operated with the guidelines set forth holding both yourself and your employees accountable for results Establish strong standards for your team, department, mill, and work system objectives Participate in and conduct the technical reviews of mill technician’s training on your team Participate in shutdown planning, work prioritization, and execution Conduct and apply behavior modification standards as necessary Ensure safe working conditions and behavior Ensure reliable operation (both processes and equipment) Make regular rounds in all process areas Communicate with and expect communications from technicians and manager Participate in housekeeping audits Complete and conduct training/selection evaluations and annual reviews according to Work System Guidelines Ensure compliance with all mill and company policies and procedures as well as governmental directives and laws Communicate and support management decisions Additional duties as assigned by your manager
Qualifications
Minimum five (5) years of maintenance background. Will consider three (3) years of experience in maintenance with a technical degree Safety and team oriented with a good work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and to lead entire group of maintenance professionals in a team environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills Demonstrated strong problem-solving skills Computerized maintenance system knowledge / experience (i.e. SAP) Strong leadership qualities and good, interactive people skills
