Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a Maintenance Tech - Electrician in our City of Industry, CA location. HFS is a business unit of Howmet Aerospace, headquartered in Torrance, California. Primary Purpose
The primary function of this position is to maintain, repair, adjust, and modify the facilities tools and equipment, as well as the building and its grounds, according to a set schedule and in emergency and non-emergency situations.

Good communication skills & know basic shop math Ability to work in fast paced environment Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, policies and procedure in English Ability to write routine reports and correspondence as required Able to lift/move up to 30 pounds regularly Able to follow and carryout instructions Ability to perform LOTO Ability to operate Mobile Equipment Knowledge of basic shop tools Able to do gauging and measuring Knowledge of basic machine mechanics Basic computer skills (e.g. Outlook, Work Order Database) Able to assist with basic tasks assigned by lead, supervisor or more senior maintenance tech with basic electrical and/or mechanical work orders Must be Mobile Equipment Operator Certified Able to use Express Maintenance Proficiently Able to do moderate PLC troubleshooting Advanced knowledge and demonstration of troubleshooting maintenance work orders related to mechanical repairs Advanced troubleshooting skills for all shop floor machinery Advanced level fabrication/sheet metal work Advanced knowledge of advanced machine mechanics, and pneumatics Thorough knowledge of HVAC and electrical troubleshooting and repairs Electrical or HVAC training certificate required
