JOB TITLE Maintenance Lube Technician

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE;

Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on machinesThoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing parts and reinstalling as necessaryOils and lubricates moving parts on machines to ensure effective performanceRecords and reports damaged, worn, or broken partsInstalls replacement or repair parts for machines or machineryIdentifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machinesDiagnose and repairs broken machines quickly and efficientlyPrepares reports documenting work performedCleans, organizes, inventories, stocks, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and suppliesCoordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machinesCollaborates with Plant Superintendent and Maintenance Superintendent regarding new products/machines being added/installed and modifications that will be requiredMakes necessary modifications and implements tests runs; confers with product manager regarding test results and makes additional alterations to machinery as requiredMaintain quality workmanshipMust perform all tasks safely in accordance with company policiesDetect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctionsBuilding maintenancePeriodic “on-call” or weekend/off shift hoursEnsure all safety equipment (guarding, emergency stops, etc.) are present and in proper working orderHot work and lockout / tagout operationsAttend monthly safety meetings and training as scheduled by supervisionMaintain Cleanliness of work areaPreform other duties as assigned
