Your role and responsibilities
Manually maintain and repair all manufacturing or related process equipmentInstall / set, or relocate facility equipmentTroubleshoot and operate equipment as requiredAnalyze problems and take corrective action as required and provide processing expertise when neededPerform periodic PM’s as required
Qualifications for the roleHigh School diploma or GEDTechnical education preferred5 years experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferredInjection molding experience preferredWorking knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and hydraulic pneumaticMust have adequate interpersonal and communication skills (oral & written)Experience with robotics and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s) is preferredWears required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Responsible for following every precaution and safety rules to protect oneself and fellow employees from bodily injury throughout the operationsReport any injuries, unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices immediately to managementCooperate with others working as a team environmentDemonstrate high degree of accuracyDemonstrate good judgment in using tools, equipment, etc. when non-standard situations ariseMake effective use of work timeDemonstrate creativity in recommending improvements in proceduresMaintain clean work area at all timesPerform other responsibilities as required by Team Leader and/or SupervisorIs fully supportive of plant loss prevention efforts, and supports 5SMakes suggestions and implements ideas to eliminate waste and continually improve processesCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
