**Title:** Maintenance Tech **Location:** United States-Arkansas-Hot Springs **Job Number:** 16303 Performs work in more than one of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding. Makes routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipment. Tests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipment. Interprets blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. Sets up and operates all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Know and understand company policies and safety procedures. + Know and understand department policies and safety procedures. + Be able to schedule out workload and to ensure all work is completed in an orderly and efficient manner. + Be able to ensure efficient tracking of all man-hours assigned to jobs. + Be able to communicate with people in the work place and with customers. + Assures that his/her crew performs top quality work performed by individuals through reviews of production performance. + Will assist the Manager in the performance evaluations of his/her crewmembers as well as appropriate disciplinary action as deemed necessary by performance and company policies and procedures. + Be able to evaluate and estimate all jobs both in the shop and outside customers. + Interface effectively with members of management, other departments, and co-workers. + Ensures all safety programs and procedures are carried out during the assigned shift. + Accomplish all functions in a cost-effective manner. + Be responsible for all phases of work, on items assigned to them, and ensure that all work is processed through the repair station in a safe, efficient manner. + Installs and diagnose electrical systems/reading blueprints + Repair all types of machinery and HVAC, Boiler. + Order parts and materials. + Familiar with all power tools. + Maintains wastewater system and hazardous material area and pickups. + Maintains De-Ionized water system Qualifications: + Performs work in more than one of the maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
