Position Description: As a Facilities Technician, you will have an opportunity to truly invest in others and develop a people-focused leadership style, while mastering the tools, processes, and operations that created a fantastic online custom framing service that cares for your art from beginning to end. This position will support our Richmond, KY location. The core of the job will be working with the production team during a shift to ensure that the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, performance, and engagement are maintained. To achieve this, you will ensure that production has all the support needed to succeed for the day
Primary Responsibilities:
● Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems throughout the facility.
● Maintain and troubleshoot motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, motor starters, and PLC.
● Ability to read a voltmeter, blueprints, and electrical schematics.
● Knowledge of metal and wood fabrication.
● Thorough knowledge of preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment and possess the ability to set schedules and ensure PM’s are performed on a regular basis.
● Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
● Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
● Responsible for maintaining tools and equipment in good operating condition.
● Perform mechanical preventative maintenance according to an established schedule.
● PLC troubleshooting and/or Programming
● Working knowledge of hydraulics, pumps, motors, cylinders, welding and plumbing.
● Perform routine and preventative maintenance, rebuild process production machinery.
● Replace broken or worn parts and reassembling of mechanical sub-assemblies.
● Provide support to the implementation and develop of preventative maintenance program.
● Read blueprints, drawings, schematics, & other reference material; complete work orders.
● Possess and model knowledge and adherence to good safety practices such as lock out/tag out, PPE, electrical safety, etc.
● Strong mechanical aptitude and math with knowledge of metal and wood fabrication.
● Completes maintenance requests by scheduling, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting the results of the shift work performed to the Facilities Manager each day.
● Operate tools and equipment according to company and OSHA safety procedures
● Other assignments directed by the Facilities Manager
