Title: Maintenance Technician - Night shift 

Location: 79 Mooresville Blvd, Mooresville, NC 28115 

Pay Rate Starting at $31.99/hr. (based on experience) 

Shifts Available: 

Rotating Night Shift 7pm to 7am 


POSITION SUMMARY 
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, trouble-shooting, repairing, and general maintenance of mechanical systems of plant/production machinery. 

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION: 

Follow all safety and company policies and procedures including maintaining good housekeeping, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assignedLevel and parallel rolls, make all required settings and adjustments for optimum equipment performance to manufacture quality products.Complete regular inspection of equipment to help identify mechanical/electrical issues or concerns and disassemble, repair, replace bearings, seals, gears, etc. as needed.Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines.Analyze, trouble-shoot, and repair mechanical problems of plant machinery using precision maintenance techniques. Follow up with work orders to ensure the problem is repaired properly.Perform maintenance function and troubleshoot to correct inefficiencies and prevent equipment downtime by completing regular PM’sWork within specifications and drawings, responsible for ensuring completion, minimizing waste within set dates and timesEnsure the maintenance and preventive maintenance of corrugating plant process equipment to achieve results; ensure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirement.Work with maintenance crew to carry out maintenance and repair projects in mechanical, fabrication, plumbing, welding functions.Comply with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including federal and/or state required environmental systems, OSHA Safety and Health rules, fire and electrical safety codes and manuals, and standard operating procedures.Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization including Management, employees, and vendors.Working knowledge of Electrical and Mechanical Systems, computers in an industrial environment including hardware, software configuration and troubleshooting, network configuration and troubleshootingAbility to read schematics and trouble-shoot various pneumatic, hydraulic systems, PLC’s and motorsStrong maintenance, plumbing, electrical background (manufacturing preferred) in AC/DC motor control, troubleshooting, and electrical wiring codes.Must be well organized and keep the working area clean at all times.Attendance must be exemplary at all times. Must be able to work flexible hours and/or extended hours.Perform other duties as assigned

 
REQUIRED SKILLS (TECHNICAL, CLERICAL, LANGUAGE, ETC.): 

5+ years related experience and/or training.Previous or currently electrical and mechanical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems.Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written.Strong attention to detail.Strong work ethic with emphasis on safety.Technical degree or related experience

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 

Corrugated experienceElectrical License or Journeyman Electrical License
