Key responsibilities include:

carrying out general repairs as required within and the exterior of the facilityCarrying out repairs on equipment, plumbing, electrical, refrigeration, motor controls, pump seals, and motor bearingsWelding and fabricatingpreventative maintenanceMonitoring and maintaining two high pressure boilers and 2 low pressure boilersgeneral upkeep of the facility in a 24/7 steam & refrigeration planttroubleshoot and repair industrial kitchen equipment

Qualifications:

Must have a 5th or 4th Class Power Engineering certificateMinimum 1 year experience as a maintenance tech working on electrical, refrigeration, plumbing, welding, commercial kitchen equipment, trouble shooting electrical faults and motor controls required

The role of Maintenance Tech encompasses the following criteria:

Job Specific Requirements:

Previous maintenance experience is an asset

Capable to Work Under pressure,

Knowledge of HACCP procedures,

Good communications skills, written, reading, speaking

Willing to work shift work 24 hours / 7days, team player

Needs to be mechanically inclined

Knowledge in Electrical, plumbing, welding, troubleshooting, refrigeration / HVAC is an asset

Our Employees Must Be Able to:

Work assigned schedule which may include multiple shifts, weekends and holidays

Work Overtime when required

Follow written specifications directions

Good communication skills reading/ writing

Complete paperwork

Communicate with Supervisors and co-workers

Follow directions

Work as a member of a team

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED preferred

Must hold in good standing valid 4th or 5th class Power Engineering Certificate

Environmental Requirements:

Will be exposed to extreme temperature changes and noise

Must be able to lift, push, pull, move product, equipment and supplies up to seventy-five(75) pounds

Regularly stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours

Compensation: $34.12 gross per hour
