**Overview** The Maintenance/Lead troubleshoots, repairs, maintains equipment as assigned, and assumes day-to-day coordination of specific agreements or projects as assigned to ensure contractual commitments are met in a timely, cost effective manner. The main responsibilities of this position are as follows; + Provide assistance to assemble, test and maintain company equipment, to include vacuums, small gas motors, floor scrubbers, carpet cleaners, and various other small equipment. + Analyze root causes of equipment failures and propose corrective actions. + If unable to repair equipment, notify the operations manager and get approval to outsource the repair. + Perform regular inspections to identify and correct equipment malfunctions, repairs and replacements. + Read and understand technical manuals for equipment operations and maintenances. + Adhere to company policies and safety regulations. + Develop preventive maintenance procedures to avoid equipment failures. + Maintain the facility a clean, safe and organized work area. + Clean, lubricate and replace filters on equipment. + Provide assistance and job trainings to workers when needed. + Maintain documentation of equipment maintenance and repair procedures for future reference procedures. + Maintain inventory control of equipment tools and parts. + Propose improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliability. + Develop cost reduction initiatives by effective utilization of materials and resources. + Be able to fill in on custodial runs or projects as assigned/needed \#200 REQNUMBER: 107959 All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
