Maintenance Tech
**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to take ownership of a designated section of our plant, working closely with an engineer. The role involves writing work instructions, implementing upgrades and changes, completing major repairs and preventative maintenance (PMs), working on specialized maintenance tasks, and conducting training. The majority of the position focuses on the maintenance of tube forming lines and presses. **Responsibilities** + Support development of machine specifications for new equipment, machines, and tooling. + Investigate root cause of quality failures and implement permanent corrective actions in forming and trim & sizing in bellows forming. + Assist in training team leaders, maintenance, and tooling personnel as needed. + Monitor equipment cumulative cycles for predictive machine rebuild activity. + Conduct and lead major equipment rebuild activity. + Execute and verify the quality of PM activity. + Assist in the development of techniques for specified production processes such as tube welding, hydro-forming, assembly, and liner manufacturing. **Essential Skills** + 6 years of experience as a maintenance technician. + 3+ years of experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems (sensors, basic PLC, circuits). + Strong troubleshooting ability to identify and resolve machine issues. + Knowledge of material processing, tooling, and part fabrication. + Ability to read electrical prints and blueprints to diagnose machine failures. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Welding experience. + Automotive industry experience. + Strong PLC background. + Fabrication skills. + Robotics experience. + CNC experience. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $35.00/hr.
