Maintenance Tech - C Shift - Fayetteville Complex

Job Details:

Summary: This position is responsible for providing service to the facility to ensure an efficient and effective operation and assist in keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. 

 

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing machine breakdowns; performing preventive maintenance and adjusting equipment; performing maintenance on production line equipment, setting up and breaking down production line machinery; perform certain lubrication functions. 

 

Other responsibilities include checking out and accounting for parts used on the job; filling out daily documentation required in SAP; performing any other tasks, which may include welding, fabricating, electrical, plumbing, painting, and cleaning. 

 

Requirements:  

Education: High School Diploma.  

 

Experience:  1+ year of accumulative industrial maintenance experience. 

 

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required knowledge of Tyson SAP software to make work orders and PM’s preferred.  

 

Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.    

 

 

Special Skills: Basic math required. 

 

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50lbs daily; must be able to troubleshoot equipment; must be able to work in harsh environments for short periods of time (Ex: heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, water, mud, etc.); must be able to work on your feet for a period of 12 hours.
