Job Description Summary:

This role will support the Rebuild shop by inspecting, disassembling, cleaning, repairing, and reassembling components maintained in the site stockroom. This role is crucial in ensuring that parts meet the necessary standards and specifications for reuse. The Rebuild Technician will work closely with maintenance, quality control, and production teams to maintain the highest levels of product reliability and performance. 

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

Experience with Systems Applications and Products (SAP), understanding of work orders, time confirmations, MaterialsObtain kitted or requests parts from the StockroomFollows job plans as outlined on the work orderUtilize diagnostic tools and equipment to evaluate the condition of partsDocument findings in inspection reportsRebuild components such as gearboxes, pumps, and valves using precision tools and equipmentTest components to ensure they function correctly after rebuildingCreate detailed tags for parts rebuilt, including serial numbers and rebuild datesAdhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environmentUse personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredInspect parts and components to determine the extent of wear, damage, or failure


Education Requirements:

High school Diploma or GED equivalent preferred. 1 years’ experience in this role or equivalent vocational and technical training

Functional Skills:

Must be able to use a computer and associated software programsProfessional or personal experience with mechanical rebuildingAbility to read and interpret a variety of technical data, such as blueprints, diagrams, and technical orders relating to the rebuilt materialsAbility to assemble components accurately, maintaining specified tolerances and clearances

Pay Range:

$57,100 - $73,500

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
