As a Maintenance Tech II you will drive company success by performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Maintain the guestrooms, public space, and back of the house areas in good repair to ensure an attractive and well-maintained property. These assignments relate to a variety of trades that include but are not limited to carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall repair and texturing, wall covering screen repair and masonry. Performs a variety of moderately complex and simple maintenance tasks or assignments involving the maintenance for all the facilities, units, and amenities of the property according to HGV standards.

Additional Responsibilities Include: Maintain all guestroom and public space equipment (to include, but not limited to the following): change filters, replace caulk, tile/grout repair, install/repair locking mechanisms and hinges, replace light bulbs/ballasts, repair closet/drapery tracks, furniture replacment/removal, repair knicks and gouges, replace remote control batteries, unclog toilets and sinks, replace faulty plumbing components, touch-up paint and peeling wallpaper, etc. Inspects rooms for pest intrusion Inspects and replaces cosmetic appliance components Complete planned scheduled preventative maintenance Maintain proper functioning of all equipment and tools Maintain detailed records, logs, and inspection sheets Establishes a clear line of communication with the engineering leadership Assist other maintenance staff on special projects as directed by the engineering leadership
