Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician III position performs a variety of maintenance activities within the office and manufacturing environment as assigned by Maintenance Manager.
Responsibilities Performs repairs in accordance with Safety and OSHA. (Occupational and Safety Health Act) requirementsAccurately complete and document work orders promptly in CMMS to maintain high-quality standardsTroubleshoots all electrical breakdowns and makes repairsInstalls new or purchased equipmentSupplies proper information for the acquisition of replacement partsTroubleshoots and repairs stationary and mobile equipmentTrains and participates in the Emergency Evacuation PlanCoordinates and schedules maintenance activities with department managersParticipates in continuous improvement projectsCoordinates and assists in inspections of critical building systems and environmental complianceCalibrates testing instrumentsAbility to multi-task and manage multiple prioritiesTroubleshooting of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and AC/DC drive systemsMaintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area, including maintenance shopOn call for emergency repairs in breakdown situations as necessaryCarries out all other dusties as assianed by ManagementQualifications High School Diploma or equivalent education required2-year certification from a trade school and/or 5 years of industrial electrical experience preferredKnowledge of building systemsKnowledge of sheet metal fabrication equipment, such as laser, press brake, saw, welding, and pressKnowledge of electrical wiring including high voltage (110V-480V)Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issuesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsSelf-motivated and detail-orientedProblem-solving and analytical skillsKnowledge of single and three phase electrical systemsKnowledge of electrical control systemsKnowledge of hydraulic systemsKnowledge of pneumatic systems, including air compressorsMust be able to understand mechanical, piping, and electrical drawings
