Maintenance Technical Lead (Starting wage $37.65/hr)

Summary Statement:

Under the direction of the Process Owner with the input of the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Supervisor and with the support of management staff, the employee will follow these job descriptions as it relates to the job title.  The employee will own results for technical training of the team, defect handling system, execution of the 52-week plan from the COE, MRO costs for the process. This employee will actively participate in annual planning, weekly PDCA meetings, daily level 2 meetings. 

This employee will coach and develop the maintenance capability of teams by serving as a technical coach and resource, spends time on the floor gathering information on breakdowns, defects, and work order completion over the past 24 hours. Works with COE to continuously improve the routes and action plans by surrounding CBM and improve the content and standardization of Bill of Material (BOM). Works with the COE to continuously improve PM work instructions, task list, checklist, maintenance planning, scheduling and kitting, strategies, and orders parts as necessary to support maintenance activities.

Duties/Responsibilities:Perform all aspects of mechanical, electrical and preventative types of maintenance on various high-speed and packaging machineryTrouble shootingRead electrical prints and perform basic wiring up to 480 voltsPrioritize PM and AM activities with the weekly scheduleUnderstands principle centered coaching leadership and humble questioningCoaching and qualifying aspects of AM and PM activities with employees within the processOrganize and execute duties as directed by the owner of the processActively participate in team goal setting/implementation to ensure that we are a low cost, high quality producerEnsure quality of our products and workplace by following all procedures and guidelines.Comply with all established GMP, HACCP guidelines, Housekeeping responsibilities and QRMP operating proceduresFlexibility to adjust schedule to work with employees from all shifts as requiredWorks overtime as necessaryPerforms other related duties as assigned
