**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** • Perform mechanical repairs using a wide array of shop and field tools. • Execute professional-level welding (MIG and TIG minimum). • Troubleshoot and diagnose heavy industrial equipment. • Understand the basic operation of standard industrial equipment, including steam boilers, heaters, mechanical presses, and ovens. • Perform basic electrical repairs and work comfortably with 480 V equipment. • Independently perform mid-level general facilities work and equipment repair (electrical, boiler, furnace, compressor) with basic supervision. • Enhance metal fabrication skills, including welding, plasma cutting, and tool use. • Acquire mid-level experience in hammer and hydraulic repairs under supervision. • Demonstrate the ability to perform mid-level and troubleshooting tasks in wastewater treatment under supervision. • Read and interpret mechanical drawings. • Perform any other duties assigned by your supervisor, provided they are reasonable. **Hard Skills** + Mechanical repairs + Professional-level welding (MIG and TIG) + Troubleshoot and diagnose heavy industrial equipment + Basic operation of industrial equipment (steam boilers, heaters, mechanical presses, ovens) + Basic electrical repairs with 480 V equipment + Metal fabrication (welding, plasma cutting, tool use) + Mid-level experience in hammer and hydraulic repairs + Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings **Soft Skills** + Independent work with basic supervision + Ability to perform assigned duties as directed by supervisor **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 3 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Fontana, California. **Work Environment** Heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
