**Job Title: Maintenance Technician ($30-$40/HR)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing various machines and equipment, installing new equipment, applying hydraulics and pneumatics principles, conducting preventive maintenance inspections, and performing machine operations. Additional responsibilities may include working on engineering electrical systems, building machines, and maintaining buildings and facilities. **Responsibilities** + Maintain and repair all types of machines and equipment, including bearings, friction/anti-friction, belts and chains, print reading/schematics, coupling alignment, gearboxes, bench work, pumps (rebuilding and overhauling), conveyor maintenance, exhaust fans and blowers, roll changes, electric motor replacement, overhead crane repair, robotics diagnostics, and fabrications (sheet metal, guards/rails). + Install machines and equipment, including print reading/schematics, couplings and alignment, rigging and hoisting, start-up and debugging new equipment, grouting and masonry, form building/carpentry, optical alignment/laser transit, demolition, robot installation, painting, structural layout/fabrication (structural steel), and fabrication (fiberglassing, sheet metal, guards/rails). + Apply hydraulics/pneumatics principles to pumps, valves, cylinders and actuators, lubricants and coolants; troubleshoot, repair and rebuild compressors, piping, tubing, and hoses. + Conduct preventive maintenance inspections, including visual/audible inspection, vibration analysis, fluid analysis, and diagnostics. + Perform machine operations, including grinders, drill press, saws, lathes, milling machines, miscellaneous machines; alter and repair fixtures and tools; sharpen tools. + Additional work processes may be used to meet business needs, including engineering electrical systems, machine building, buildings and facilities maintenance, furnace repair, general carpentry, overhead doors, and HVAC. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical skills + Hydraulics and pneumatics expertise + Blueprint reading + 3 phase motors + PLC troubleshooting + 480-volt electrical systems + Preventive maintenance + Schematic reading + Welding **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Minimum 2 years of experience in maintenance + Experience with industrial electricity (480v and 3 phase motors) + Experience with gearboxes, cylinders, valves, motors, bearings + TIG welding experience is a plus **Why Work Here?** Join a growing company with ample opportunities for professional growth. The position involves working up to 48-58 hours a week.
