Your Role:

At MilliporeSigma, the Maintenance Technician 1 will maintain a safe and effective workplace for all employees and guests. Job duties include:

Execute routine maintenance on production equipment, ensuring optimal operational efficiencyActively participate in process improvement initiatives and capital projects to enhance production capabilitiesDiagnose and resolve technical issues with diverse machine equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivityProvide occasional on-call support to address urgent equipment or process-related issues outside of standard work hoursDemonstrate the ability to manage and prioritize a variety of tasks effectively, adapting to changing production demands

 Physical capabilities:

Must be able to lift 70 lbs. 

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School diploma2+ years of experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC

                                                          Or

Vocational or Technical Diploma in Carpentry, Plumbing, or other trade

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to work independentlyExperience troubleshooting and repairing electrical controls, including PLC'sExperience troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic controlsAbility to read and understand drawings and P&ID'sStrong Teamwork and interpersonal skills
