**Maintenance Technician - Up to $30/hr - 1st Shift** **_Call 330 224 1231 to set up an interview!_** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining machinery, equipment, and the building in adequate condition, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring cleanliness inside and outside the facility. The role involves working closely with supervisors, managers, and team leaders to ensure optimal equipment performance and to manage maintenance projects effectively. **Responsibilities** + Maintain machinery, equipment, and building in adequate condition. + Ensure the cleanliness of the building inside and out. + Perform preventive maintenance procedures. + Liaise with supervisors, managers, and team leaders regarding equipment and machinery performance, condition, and status of maintenance projects. + Complete required documentation. + Perform other activities as assigned. + Work with Upkeep maintenance software to log and create events. **Essential Skills** + 5+ years of industrial experience. + Blueprint reading. + CNC knowledge. + Ability to troubleshoot up to 480v electrical systems. + Experience with mechanical and electrical systems (50/50). **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Manufacturing experience + Shop math skills. + Above average problem-solving skills. + Good working knowledge of measuring equipment. + Above average communication skills. + Competent operator of lifting devices, machinery, and equipment. + Working knowledge of the mechanics of CNC and manual equipment, welders, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. + Basic understanding of electrical and compressed gas systems. + Familiarity with the Occupational Health & Safety Act (sections 23-32) and its regulations. + PLC troubleshooting (nice to have). + CNC repair (nice to have). + Experience with Upkeep software (nice to have). **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a supportive and engaging work environment where employees can grow and develop their skills. The facility spans 140,000 sq. ft. and includes multiple fabrication and assembly bays equipped with various overhead cranes. The production facilities include shipping, receiving, warehouse areas, and a complete machine shop. You will be working alongside one other maintenance technician, utilizing advanced equipment and technologies in a well-organized and safe environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kent, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/hr.
