**Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift** **Job Description** The Maintenance Mechanic maintains equipment according to the Preventive Maintenance program, diagnoses and repairs mechanical problems, and performs emergency and proactive repairs of buildings and grounds, production equipment, and machinery while minimizing downtime. **Responsibilities** + Diagnose and repair mechanical problems, replace or repair parts to mechanical, electric, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. + Maintain equipment according to the Preventive Maintenance program. + Perform emergency/reactive repairs of production equipment and machinery minimizing downtime. + Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow prescribed safety procedures. + Perform inspections of completed maintenance and document results. + Complete and maintain paperwork for maintenance performed. + Assist in other work areas as needed and directed by the department supervisor. + Operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other equipment as necessary. + Comply with all plant safety and environmental regulations and maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment. + Read and follow QWI and other work instructions necessary to properly assemble the product. **Essential Skills** + Electrical + Pneumatics + Mechanical repair + Preventive maintenance + PLC troubleshooting + Knowledge of LOTO and SDS + OSHA 10 certification + Hydraulics + Comfortable in a very industrial setting, non-climate controlled **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Certified/Licensed Industrial Maintenance Mechanic + Basic computer skills + Mechanic and technical aptitude + Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment + PLC experience **Why Work Here?** Join a team where your skills and expertise are valued.
