Maintenance Technician (2nd Shift) **Specialized Recruiting Group** 1 Positions ID: 52953 Posted On 09/16/2024 **Job Overview** **Specialized Recruiting Group** has an exciting new job opening for a **Maintenance Technician** ! **Location:** Dubuque, IA **Hours:** 4pm - Midnight **Pay Range:** $25-$30 per hour **Responsibilities:** + Perform preventative maintenance on motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machinery. + Diagnose mechanical problems using precision measuring and testing instruments. + Replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, and hand tools. + Inspect used parts for dimensional changes using measuring tools. + Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments. + Minimize downtime by scheduling maintenance during non-production periods. + Fabricate repair parts using machine shop equipment. + Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories. + Share mechanical maintenance information and prepare maintenance reports. + Stay updated with technical knowledge and document actions. + Contribute to team efforts and perform other related tasks as assigned. **Requirements:** + Proficient in mechanical troubleshooting with a strong aptitude for mechanical systems. + High School diploma or equivalent, with 4-6 years of job-related experience.
