**Job Title: Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift** **Job Description** We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician with strong electro-mechanical proficiency to join our team. The ideal candidate will work with specialized equipment, such as programmable logic controllers (PLC), to control machinery on factory assembly lines. Responsibilities include carrying out routine maintenance work, responding to equipment faults, diagnosing breakdown problems, fitting new parts, and ensuring equipment is working correctly. You will write maintenance strategies to help with installation and commissioning guidelines, liaise with Production and Procurement departments, assist with specialist procurement of fixtures, fittings, or components, and control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment while applying 5S practices. Additionally, you will monitor, minimize, and control maintenance downtime and material costs, and rapidly solve problems, dealing with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs efficiently and timely. **Hard Skills** + Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience with machining and metal fabrication + Strong electro-mechanical back ground + Able to suggest and implement approved design changes to increase efficiency, throughput, and uptime + Capacity to understand a range of supervising functions and procedures **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in ALGODONES, New Mexico. **Work Environment** Manufacturing setting with swamp coolers.
