Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Must follow all JSA, GMP, PPE and Lockout/Tagout regulationsMaintain operational functions of plant machinery and equipment, ensuring Safety and QualityMust be able to work from various heights on scaffolding, mechanical lifts, and ladders as a last resortFollow plant safety and environmental regulatory complianceSupport delivery of brand quality and customer satisfactionMust be able to obtain and sustain a forklift licenseMust demonstrate excellent motivation, attitude, desire and performance in correcting machine failures, preventative maintenance and in developing working relationships with fellow employees and supervisionPrior experience should include strong mechanical background, working knowledge of electrical motors and industrial electrical controls, including design, wiring, and troubleshooting of advanced motor control and safety circuitsMust be proficient with variable frequency drives and troubleshootingMust be able to read, interpret and work from schematics, sketches, and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manualsAbility to analyze data and information, and to make effective and timely decisionsAbility to work with others to identify opportunities for improving machinery and maintenance systemsAbility to react to situations with a strong sense of urgencyOther duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor, department manager, or plant leadership

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or GED required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience with PLC systems highly preferredWelding and fabrication skills a plusKnowledge of Ammonia Refrigeration systems and PSM programs a plusCertificate in Electro-Mechanical Technology or Mechatronics a plus.
