Job DescriptionThe individual will work closely with the maintenance team and operators on a daily basis in order to perform troubleshooting for machinery repairs and preventative maintenance.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systemsConduct preventative maintenance tasksMachine/fabricate machine parts using drill press, lathe, mill, etc.Perform machine repairsQualificationsMust have good interpersonal skills, be a team player and a self-starter who can work with little or no supervision. Good people interaction skills needed to work with operators, engineers, and other non-technical personnelPosition requires 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentMechanical, electrical, and pneumatic/hydraulic troubleshooting and repair skills.Measurement, layout, drilling reaming and threading as well as welding and cutting are requiredUnderstanding of mechanical drive systems and bearing maintenance / replacementAbility to work at heights using proper equipmentAbility to read electrical and mechanical schematics and printsAbility to use test & measurement equipment such as multimeters, calipers, micrometersExperience with PLCs, VFDs and Electrical Control systems a plusA team player who possesses an excellent attitudeWilling to pursue further educationSelf-directed and able to work with little direct supervisionUse logical thinking and the ability to analyze cause and effect situationsCapacity to address several issues or problems simultaneouslyAdditional Information
