Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. Minimum 5 years’ experience with hands-on maintenance activities is critical  Flexibility, must be available to work all shifts and weekends / holidays as required This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.  Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Essential Functions:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for supporting the production operations by inspecting, monitoring, repairing, and maintaining all production equipment, plant systems, and facility.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

Performs inspection, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and plant systems. High voltage (480V and above) maintenance work and mechanical maintenance on our equipment.  Performs preventative maintenance in accordance with written instructions. Communicates equipment concerns with operators, supervisors, and other maintenance personnel to diagnose and repair issues. Document status and completion of work orders and projects via use of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Documents spare parts condition, inventory levels, and usage via CMMS. Maintains clean work area and organized toolbox. Follow work schedules and standard work practices and procedures. Follow all safety procedures LOTO / PPE / Confined Space / Hot Work Permits / Fall Protection Support the Maintenance Manager in meeting department goals and objectives. Support the Quality Management System. Complies with all EHS rules required for the work environment and ensures all environmental & safety policies are followed. Effectively communicating with others within and outside the workgroup. Own cost savings initiatives (degrees of implementation). Ability to read and react to verbal and non-verbal communication while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
