Northrop Grumman Defense Systems has an opening for a Maintenance Technician 4 supporting our Armament Systems site located in Mesa, Arizona.

Role Summary

Move and install complicated machine tools. Install complicated group counter and line shafts. Perform a wide variety of construction and repair work on equipment.

Role description & Responsibilities:

Performs repairs and maintenance in plant or office facilities, or on machines and equipmentTypically performs work in one or more of the maintenance trades: machine and equipment repair, machine controls, electrical, sheet metal fabrication and weldingConducts routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of facilities, machinery, and equipmentUses hand and power toolsTests, inspects, troubleshoots, and repairs machines and equipmentUses blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specificationsDrywall and painting experience.Able to lift over 50lbs.Order parts, equipment, etc.Electrical and Plumbing experience.Hazmat trained or willing to get certified in Hazwoper, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent plus 6 years of experience working in a manufacturing industry, maintenance, and/or construction environmentBasic reading, writing, and arithmetic skillsAbility to work a 4/10 schedule; Mon-Fri, 10-hour workdays.Ability to work overtime if needed

Desired Qualifications:

Experience in Aerospace/Defense IndustryHazmat trained or Hazwoper certifiedStrong computer, math, analytical, and planning skillsExperience with Microsoft OutlookGood communication skills

Salary Range: $59,300.00 - $98,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
