We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Maintenance Technician within our Maintenance team to help support our business. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for supporting production needs by ensuring the machines are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
Education & Experience:
4-year degree, certification, or equivalent (is a plus) Trained Technician (Electrician and/or Mechanics and/or Control, and/or Tooling) At least 2-4 years of working experience in the trained area in manufacturing companies Openings available for Weekdays night shift (Monday to Thursday)
Knowledge, Skills and Ability that candidates need to have (not required to have all)
Must have basic math skills. Knowledgeable in machine shop operations and the use of machine shop tools and equipment. Maintenance and enhancement of production of machinery both mechanically and control systems, such as PLC programming & vision systems. Have mechanical or electrical or programming skills and ability. Be able to use measuring tools. Have good communications skills. Be able to read blueprints. Programming and maintenance of vision systems Understanding of LEAN methods (TPM, SMED, or the like) and preventive maintenance Working knowledge of MS Office Knowledge of IATF-16949 / ISO-9001:2015 Problem solving skills (8D)Reasons You’ll Love It Here
