Maintenance Technician (5 am - 3 pm)

If you are a Maintenance Technician professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an opening located in Boulder, CO. Performs tasks that require a sophisticated level of skill as needed to meet demands. This includes diagnosis and repair of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, operational relay and PLC control systems, safety circuits, and vacuum systems. Actively participates in the development and improvement of processes used to accomplish company objectives. Perform job duties with minimal direction.  
 

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Applies advanced skills and knowledge to perform routine tasks such as electrical, mechanical, pneumatics, hydrostatic, CNC lathes, mills, and all other associated equipment within production. Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled. Maintain records of work performed, parts used, and time spent.  Applies advanced skills and knowledge to perform troubleshooting, modification, and repair of PLC and Relay logic based control systems. Able to read and understand electrical schematics and diagrams including PLC ladder control logic. Identifies work to be done including solving, modification, and repair.    Works on assignments that are frequently non-routine and moderately sophisticated in nature. Assures all details of a task are completed accurately including team member communication, job cleanup, and documentation. Perform other duties as needed including facilities and EHS related tasks.

For This Role, You Will Need: Ability to tackle and repair PLC and relay controls, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Strong electrical and mechanical background Good communication skills required to work with Production and Engineering personnel Five years or equivalent maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Must be able to lift 25 lbs. and work from heights using ladders and man lifts

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the hourly pay range for this role is $30.26 - $36.25 commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
