Maintenance Technician 7pm-7am

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Performs welding, pipe fitting and sheet metal fabrication.Performs compressor rebuilding and hydraulic repair.Performs rigging and general equipment repair.Uses a variety of materials to make alterations, installations and repairs on all types of plant machinery and on all auxiliary equipment.Must work in a safe manner, ensuring all guards and safety devices are in place after job completion.Must be able to read prints.Must be able to lift heavy objects.Must obtain a forklift license.Must perform all other duties as assigned.May perform limited electrical troubleshooting, repair or installation within abilities.Compliance with applicable Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Documentation Practices.Other Duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Required: High School diploma

EXPERIENCE:

Required: 4+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment

SKILLS:

Required: Must be able to read and writeMust be dependableMust have a good attendance recordMust be willing to be on call, carry a pager and work overtime as necessaryMust have at least four years mechanical experience using the skills described in the job summaryMust be able to lift heavy material and handle physical effortResponsible for the safety of others in the performance of job duties
