Job Summary:

Technicians are responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive, and productive maintenance systems and processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and equipment Provide scheduled and emergency repairs of production equipment Perform machinist duties and responsibilities Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting, and repair of production machines. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material-handling equipment Detect faulty operations and defective material; report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas

Performance Expectations (if applicable):

Lifting is required of tools and parts with varying weights of 1 to 100 pounds. Standing is required, possibly entire shift. Reaching is required for tools and parts multiple times a day. Bending is required to pick up parts, tools or do work multiple times a day. Must use hand, power, and shop tools multiple times a day. Must be able to distinguish color shade differences. Occasionally required to climb, balance, and kneel.

Experience/Education Requirements:

Previous experience preferred High school graduate or GED preferred Must be able to stand, walk, bend, crouch, or sit for long periods, work in tight spaces, lift and maneuver objects of 50+ pounds

Other Requirements:

Overtime is required on occasion. Self-motivated with the ability to work and perform from home when needed. Perform any other duties as assigned.
