The Maintenance Technician job in Auburn, Maine is responsible for performing, maintaining and repairing a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment. You will have a solid understanding of performing a variety of complex tasks, some of which may require training, such as welding or troubleshooting electro/mechanical components and equipment. Successful candidates will demonstrate good communications skills with the ability to interact effectively with department associates and supervisors. This is a full time, third shift position.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Five years’ experience in a manufacturing facility troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems; Controls experience and knowledge (PLC, Servo, Robot, Motion VFD’s)
Electrical knowledge on controls and PLC’s is required
Strong communications skills with the ability to interact effectively with department associates, support functions and members of supervision
Ability to perform a variety of complex tasks, some of which may require on the job training and special training, such as welding, troubleshooting electro/mechanical components and equipment
Knowledge of complex tools and equipment and aptitude for understanding mechanical and electrical systems
