Maintenance Technician
**This Opportunity** WSP is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their team Program & Construction Management team in Raleigh, NC. **Your Impact** + This position functions as a Maintenance Technician on a routine road maintenance crew. + Work will consist of a wide range of tasks involved in performing routine maintenance activities on NC 540 in Wake County. + Daily tasks include maintenance and repair of ditches, shoulders, fencing, slopes, and signs; debris removal and other duties as assigned. + Work will require exposure to various types of weather conditions and the ability to work on uneven surfaces and slopes. + This position is subject to emergency call back and must be able to workdays and nights during snow and ice removal operations and other adverse weather or extreme circumstances. **Who You Are** Minimum Requirements: + 0-2 years of professional experience + Experience using small hand tools such as shovels, rakes, brooms, posthole diggers, hammer, chainsaw, screwdriver, torches, etc. + Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 60 lbs. + Performing physical activities required of the testing procedures including squatting, bending, lifting, climbing and traversing difficult terrain. + Proficient at basic math computations. + Good communication skills, both oral and written. + Basic computer skills. + The ability to complete work assignments independently and in team environments. + Willingness to perform work after regular business hours, on weekends and sometimes on holidays when necessary. + Possession of a current Driver’s License is mandatory for essential duties. \#LI-MP1 **About WSP** WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of WSP, one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
