We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing general maintenance tasks, inspecting facilities, and addressing any repairs or issues. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with painting, patching, carpentry and tile repairs. The Maintenance Technician will work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently. The ability to effectively use hand and power tools is required, along with following safety procedures and guidelines.

Location: Fairfox, VA (Onsite)

Responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, light plumbing repairs.Inspect facilities regularly and identify any issues or repairs neededRepair or replace broken equipment, fixtures, or appliancesInstall or assemble furniture, fixtures, and other items as neededRespond to maintenance requests in a timely mannerMaintain inventory of tools and equipmentFollow safety procedures and guidelines when performing tasksCollaborate with other team members to complete projects efficiently

Experience:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician, General Laborer or similar roleStrong knowledge of general maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, tiling, firestoppingAbility to use hand and power tools effectivelyExcellent problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionMUST BE A PART OF LOCAL 99
