As a Maintenance Technician, you will
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Description:
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAnalyzes equipment problems resulting from mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions.\r\n\tInstalls, maintains, dismantles, repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds electrical, mechanical and electronic equipment.\r\n\tPerforms welding fabrication, carpentry, masonry, plumbing and electrical repairs or wiring associated with other work to construct, install, and maintain structures, fixtures, and equipment.\r\n\tPerforms traditional electrical power/wire hook ups up to 480 volts 3 phase including bending conduit and troubleshooting.\r\n\tAble to correctly size electrical wire per NEC code for the application.\r\n\tChecks, adjusts, fits, and modifies parts for repair and replacement.\r\n\tReads and edits PLC programming.\r\n\tAnalyzes equipment problems resulting from mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic malfunctions.\r\n\tExamines such items as indicator lights, hand and foot controls, sensing devises, and emergency stop switches.\r\n\tUses a wide variety of hand tools, equipment, and instruments in performing maintenance to specifications of wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, blueprints, manuals, schematics and other instructions.\r\n\tPerforms electronic installation and troubleshooting.\r\n\tResponsible for the automated equipment operations, setup, and maintenance.\r\n\tInstalls, maintains, dismantles, repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds equipment.\r\n\tFabricates parts with precision required to meet specifications.\r\n\tSafety devises are in place and in proper operation.\r\n\tKeeps equipment and work area clean and orderly.\r\n\tRecords information on electronic or paper forms for record keeping purposes.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
What qualifications will make you successful?
\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBasic microcomputer skills necessary to understand the operation and interfacing characteristics of microprocessors.\r\n\tThis includes I/O and interfacing concepts, software interaction, applications, programming languages and techniques.\r\n\tExperience in PLC operations to include basic system configurations and hardware, data manipulation, data communications, advanced programming commands, interfacing, troubleshooting, application, and program development.\r\n\tTraining or experience in electric motor drive technologies including AC variable frequency, AC servo, DC servo, closed loop systems, stepper systems, servo-motors, electronic and mechanical clutch/brake, and encoders.\r\n\tKnowledge of welding safety, welding equipment, proper selection of type, wire, settings, and material preparation.\r\n\tFlame cutting knowledge, including safety, equipment, and preparation is also desired.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Industrial Maintenance Technician
\r\n\r\n\r\n\t2-year degree in electromechanical, electronic technology, or equivalent education AND a minimum of two years of electromechanical work experience OR five plus years of experience in a related field.\r\n\tFamiliar with standard recognized troubleshooting practices.\r\n\tAble to reference National Electrical Codes.\r\n\tAble to read mechanical blueprints/wiring diagrams or schematics.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\nHours: 7:00 pm-7:00 am
\r\n\r\nLocation: Lincoln, Nebraska
\r\n\r\nPay: 35/hr. +$3.98/hr. shift differential
\r\n\r\n$5,000 sign on bonus
\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
