Maintenance Technician


Job Description:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily activities of maintaining the (CNC) production equipment.

Accountabilities:

Perform geometry adjustment on 5 axis CNC machinesPerform preventive maintenance on equipment and systemsDocument work performed and report incidents and variancesGuide, motivate and teach teams of mechanicsValidate and test new equipment following SOP, FDA and ISO standardsReduce production equipment downtimeWork in 2 and 3 shifts, extended hours and on weekends if necessaryOther duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Critical Experience:

Minimum 3 years experience as a Maintenance TechnicianDemonstrated experience working with analog and digital instrumentationExperience with Six Sigma, Lean, SPC is a plusExperience working in a highly regulated environment a plus

Critical Knowledge and Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience is required.Knowledge of CNC equipment controlled by FANUC, Heidenhain and Siemen's controls is a plusWorking knowledge of standard maintenance tracking software (e-maint)Team player and reliable

Critical Skills/technical know-how: (what the role holder must be able to do)

Ability to read schematics including electrical diagrams, pneumatic diagrams and hydraulic diagramsAbility to troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic system problemsAbility to diagnose faulty sensors, relays, motor starters, breakers, etc. and replace when neededAbility able to initiate a plan of action and make decisions independentlyConfidence in working with latest, state-of-the-art technologyIntermediate to advanced Computer skills (MS Office)Proficient in English (reading, writing, spoken)

Target Market Salary Range:

Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.

$22.40 - $30.40 per hour
