What We Offer $25.45 per hour, starting pay 3rd shift, Sunday – Wednesday, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM Health benefits, including telehealth medical services 401k Reward programs Opportunity for advancement Sign-on bonus What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED Completion of apprenticeship or training program 3+ years of previous experience in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance Knowledge of heavy-duty diesel engine manufacturing Knowledge of Rolls Royce Solutions America products, policies, and procedures Ability to work any shift and overtime as required Intermediate knowledge in skills including welding, pipe fitting, lubrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, carpentry, use of tool room machine, and repair of production machines Intermediate troubleshooting and problem-solving skills where problems are complex Intermediate personal skills and the ability to work effectively with other employees Intermediate knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to use relevant information and individual judgment to determine whether events or processes comply with laws, regulations, or standards Intermediate knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, raw materials, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture of goods Intermediate ability to interpret blueprints, schematic drawings, layouts, or other visual aids Effective oral and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft and PC Office Suite What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service Responsible for Preventative Maintenance (PM) of equipment, fix Turing, racks, and tooling on a daily or scheduled basis Troubleshoot, diagnose symptoms and effect repairs of manufacturing and facility equipment Responsible for working knowledge of plant facilities and equipment Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service Advise operators and line mechanics of operation procedures and requirements for working safely with mechanical equipment and components Inform appropriate management and line mechanics of potential mechanical problems and inherent dangers involved Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor such as: general maintenance duties, assisting in installation of new equipment, demo of old processes/equipment, facility repairs, plumbing, carpentry, etc. Maintain clean and orderly work areas and comply with safety regulations to help ensure a safe working environment Develop, implement and maintain preventative maintenance improvements and schedules Perform special projects as may be required and maintain on the job flexibility by providing support in maintenance and in other production related areas Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct Perform other tasks as assigned
