2nd Shift: 2pm to 10:30 pm Monday to Thursday; Fridays 7am to 3:30pm

3rd Shift: 10:30pm to 7am Sunday to Thursday

Pay:  Base pay will vary within the range depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.   This information is specific to North Platte and may not be applicable to other locations.

Overview

Perform repairs and maintenance (mechanical & electrical) as necessary to maintain equipment in a quality operating condition.

What you will do:

Troubleshoot/Repair production and plant equipment and record work in Mainsaver, CMMS.Perform, and record assigned preventive maintenance tasks in Mainsaver, CMMS.Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using devices such as ohmmeter, voltmeter, and ammeter to troubleshoot and ensure compatibility and safety of systems.Building maintenance tasks such as: Lamping and rebuild of lighting fixtures, painting, grounds cleanup, minor plumbing, testing and documentation of facility safety inspections.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with co-workers, customers, suppliers, and management.Other duties as assigned

What you will need:

Certificate In Industrial Maintenance; 3-5 years Industrial Maintenance experienceHS Diploma or GED preferredAble to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Technical skills must include Electrical, Mechanical Power Transmission, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Welding, and Machine Shop Tool use.Possess an ability to repair and/or fabricate components using machine shop tools and equipment.Ability to read and understand electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.PLC troubleshooting and Ladder Logic modification experience is a plus.Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.Must be able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested due to production work schedules.Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally.Must possess the necessary hand tools to perform assigned tasks.
