Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Key Performance Areas

Responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the mechanical and electrical components of equipment at a contract work site, while also ensuring all work meets defined specifications.

Key Activities and Responsibilities 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, machinery, systems, and controls.Perform routine preventive maintenance and identify/repair faulty or damaged parts.Diagnose and resolve issues with PLC controls, ladder logic, microprocessors, and various mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and ventilation systems.Prepare requisitions for spare parts and manage inventory and related clerical tasks.Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety regulations.Maintain a clean and organized work area in line with company standards.Provide support during manufacturing plant emergencies and unplanned maintenance needs.

Competencies

Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. Capable of working from technical drawings or following verbal directions.Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical circuit diagrams, wiring schematics, and systems.Skilled in interpreting machine alarms to diagnose issues related to programs, machinery, or operator error.Must demonstrate strong eye-hand coordination and agility. Proficient in operating hoists, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other lifting equipment; must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs.

Profile

You possess minimum of a Technical Certification or Diploma in mechanical or electrical fields from a Technical College or Trade School. You possess a valid state issued driver’s license. Minimum of 3-5 years of related maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment with industry-specific equipment. Global travel may be required. Schedule will vary according to department needs; overtime work may be requested.

You are a highly motivated team player with a strong customer service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication skills. You have well-developed active listening skills and the keen ability to work effectively as part of an integrated team. You should be flexible, self-motivated, and show a demonstrated initiative, along with strong time management and organizational abilities.
