Job Description:

Location: Romeoville, Illinois

CoWorx Staffing Services is now hiring Maintenance Technicians in Romeoville, IL!

Responsibilities:

• Access any area of the equipment to perform necessary maintenance
• Walk and stand for extended periods of time on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery
• Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel
• Test and repair appliances, in running order with minimal downtime
• Ensure that Appliance’s are in a workable/sellable condition according to customers requirements
• Locate sources of problems by observing and listening to mechanical devices in operation; diagnose and make repairs as needed
• Document the performance of preventive maintenance, equipment repair, part usages and other projects

Desired Background/Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, including drives, motors, bearings
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree
• Certifications in various fields, such as conveyors and other technical areas
