**Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Assist in the safe, efficient, and responsible operation of the facility to produce safe and legal products. Perform complete line changeovers (fillers, seamers, crowners, cappers, etc.) and adjust all equipment to specified tolerances without instruction. Troubleshoot machinery for malfunctions (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, & pneumatic) without instructions. Conduct preventative maintenance and repair on all line and processing machinery, including lubrication and heat/vibration analysis. Maintain all production supporting equipment (glycol system, compressed air, lubrication, and chemical distribution systems) independently. Perform welding (Arc, TiG, and MiG) as required. Address minor troubleshooting parameter issues within a PLC. Minimize production downtime through advanced troubleshooting techniques. Complete, document, and retrieve final approvals on all assigned work orders, including recording all utilized part numbers for inventory purposes. Communicate effectively and thoroughly all relevant maintenance and production-related information to the relieving shift. Work towards minimizing downtime, improving efficiency, and assisting in the training of other maintenance personnel.
