Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Shift: 3a-3p
Pay: $23-35/hr, based on experience
The Opportunity:
Performs routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems involving production equipment and plant systems including PLCs.
Responsibilities include:
Ensure production machinery functions correctly and efficientlyTroubleshoot and repair pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic, compressor, and vacuum systemsWork on motors, and conveyors, AC/DC, PLC troubleshootingWill work with steam and boiler controls and mechanical power drivesPerform predictive and preventative maintenance activitiesAdhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and proceduresComplete Timely and accurate paperwork
What you need to succeed:
Strong Electrical and Mechanical aptitude required with extensive troubleshooting experience Experience with Troubleshooting in a Production/Manufacturing EnvironmentAn operational knowledge of automated industrial machinery including motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, 3 phase power, communication devices, industrial / electronic controls and power transmission systemsAbility to install and set up both A/C and D/C drivesAble to install and troubleshoot basic 3 phase motor control circuitsKnowledge of the various types of sensors and limit switchesA good understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systemsPLC troubleshooting and problem-solving ability preferredMust be able to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical drawingsMust be fully computer literate with Microsoft environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a mature and professional mannerAbility to work weekends & overtimeBasic mathematical skills and basic technology/computer skillsEducation: High school diploma or equivalent; Military training and/or Technical School preferredCorrugated background is a plus, but not required

The pay range for this position is $23-35/hr depending on your role, level and location.
