Grafton, MA Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Salary Range $23.18 Hourly Job Category Education Description The Grafton Job Corps Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. We are a federally funded program and we assist students ages 16-24 with receiving the education and the career skills and credentials they need to become successful members of the workforce. This position focuses on dealing with building maintenance issues and may also have days where driving students in our vans is a focus as well. CDL is not required for this position. The ideal candidate would have at least 1 year of maintenance experience. Schedule: 10am-7pm Monday-Friday Pay for this position is $23.18 per hour POSITION SUMMARYAssists in providing preventative and ongoing maintenance of Center facility, grounds andsystems.MANAGEMENT & SUPERVISIONMay supervise Job Corps Work-Based Learning and Leisure Time Student Workers assigned tothe department.Adams and Associates, Inc. abides by the requirements of 41 CFR §§ 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a). Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. Minimum one yearexperience in building maintenance required. Technical certificate preferred. Working knowledgeof carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC systems, boilers and other building systemspreferred. Must possess a valid in-State Drivers License and meet Company insurabilityrequirements.Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing,carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or theability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance.
