**Job Title: Maintenance Technician** **Job Description** Day shift position: Start time will be between 6 and 8 AM. Position will have two non-consecutive days off, probably during the week. Must be ready to be on call should issues arise. Will have to be open to training on different shifts for maximum exposure. - Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and install machinery, equipment, and electrical devices (such as transformers, relays, circuit breakers, starters, and safety and limit switches) both working alongside another maintenance technician, as well as working on your own. - Solve different problems every day; we’re seeking someone who thrives on problem-solving and independent decision-making. - Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment - Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment and Programmable Logic Controllers - Repair and maintain boilers, water heaters, water conditioning equipment, and all water distribution systems - Identify safety issues with machines, document issues, develop an action plan to resolve concerns and follow up to ensure problems are resolved - Monitor machines to ensure all levels are within EPA, OSHA, and other government guidelines - Facilities maintenance including fixing bathrooms, forklift fixing, doing light carpentry and other tasks **Hard Skills** + Troubleshooting + HVAC + CMMS + Food Manufacturing + PLC + Maintenance **Soft Skills** + Problem-solving + Independent decision-making **Job Type** This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s). **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Hayward, California. **Work Environment** - Food manufacturing facility that produces dough and stores all of the products to send to stores - Mostly cold facility to ensure freshness, with a few freezers for additional storage - Maintenance team of 3, 2 technicians and 1 helper **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
