A Maintenance Technician job is available with a manufacturing client in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will analyze/maintain equipment throughout the plant. You will ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.

Responsibilities:
* Understands specifications
* Capable of following: Diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications
* Troubleshooting malfunctions
* Comply with all safety policies, procedures, and good work practices

Qualifications:
* Must value safety as a deliverable.
* Must have high school diploma or equivalent
* Must have at least two years of maintenance experience in a production environment
* Must be computer literate
* Electromechanical troubleshooting (Ex: controls, components, control wiring diagnosis, etc.)
* PLC diagnostics and experience preferred
* Robotic control
* Electrical field device/component troubleshooting and replacement
* Mechanical comprehension and functional understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives and motors, bearings, fasteners and fittings, hardware
* Controls knowledge preferred
* Field device knowledge, such as smart eyes, photo eyes, micro switches, proximity devices, encoders, reed sensors, ultrasonic, retroflected and reflective etc. preferred
* Electrical control safety devices and installations preferred
* Process equipment control knowledge for troubleshooting and installations preferred
