Start your new career as a Maintenance Technician with Magna Decostar in Piedmont, SC. As a Maintenance Technician, you will determine reasons for equipment failures, and repair and maintain all equipment and facilities expediently to ensure the safe and efficient operation of all equipment required to maintain uptime goals. This is a direct-hire opportunity.
What We Offer $30.50 per hour + shift differential 3rd shift, Monday – Friday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM Overtime and weekends as required Medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance Company paid holidays 401k and matching Flex spending Life and disability plans What We’re Looking For Associate’s degree in a related and technical field of study 6+ years of work-related experience may be substituted in place of degree Work experience combined with current schooling toward degree will be considered Computer literate on the Windows platform Mechanical and electrical experience with industrial control preferred LOTO knowledge preferred High departmental standard of cleanliness in all areas What You’ll Do as a Maintenance Technician Order appropriate replacement parts and fluids Fabricate equipment components using welders, milling machines, lathes, and other machine tools as required Troubleshoot and repair all electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems in the molding department Execute lockout/tag-out procedures as required on all department equipment and facilities Assist in the implementation, development, and maintenance of a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) Perform other tasks as assigned
