Job Description
This position is for an Engineering Laboratory Services and Support Technician on the 2nd shift (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Monday to Friday), with occasional overtime (2x per month). The role involves performing basic to moderately complex set-up and tear down activities of large water-cooled chillers. You will be responsible for connecting and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems on equipment manufactured in Charlotte. The position requires operating, inspecting, and maintaining test setups and equipment to detect malfunctions. HVAC experience is a must. The technician will also run tests for R&D and certification, ensuring every unit is tested before it leaves the facility. Experience with pneumatic tools and familiarity with industrial tools are essential. Proof of last education is required for submission.
